Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At J K COOL POINT PALWAL, customer satisfaction is our top priority. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or service adjustments may be provided for our AC repair, installation, refrigerator service, and other cooling solutions.

2. Service Cancellation

Customers may cancel or reschedule a booked service under the following conditions:

  • Free Cancellation: If cancelled at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time, no cancellation fee is charged.
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may incur a nominal visiting charge if our technician has already been dispatched.
  • No-Show: If our technician arrives at the scheduled time and the customer is unavailable or refuses service, a standard visiting/diagnostic charge will apply.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Service Not Performed: Full refund if we are unable to deliver the agreed service due to our own fault or capacity constraints.
  • Repeated Failure: If the same issue reoccurs within the warranty period (typically 7–30 days) despite our repair attempts, we will re-service at no additional labor cost or provide a partial refund of labor charges.
  • Incorrect Diagnosis: If our initial diagnosis is proven incorrect and the recommended service does not resolve the issue, we will reassess and adjust charges accordingly.
  • Prepaid AMC / Package: For annual maintenance contracts or service packages paid in advance, unused portions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis upon written request.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • The customer changes their mind after the service has been completed satisfactorily.
  • Damage caused by customer negligence, power surges, or unauthorized tampering after service.
  • Issues arising from pre-existing appliance conditions that were disclosed or beyond repair.
  • Consumables or refrigerant gas that have been used or installed.
  • Special-order spare parts that were procured specifically for the customer's appliance.

5. Refund Process

To request a refund or service adjustment:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of the service date.
  2. Provide your service receipt or booking reference.
  3. Describe the issue clearly. Our team may schedule a revisit to assess the concern.
  4. Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.

6. Service Warranty Claims

Our service warranty covers labor defects only. To make a warranty claim:

  • Contact us during the warranty period with proof of service.
  • We will inspect the appliance to confirm the issue is related to our previous work.
  • If validated, we will re-service the appliance at no additional labor cost.
  • Warranty claims do not automatically entitle you to a cash refund; our first remedy is to fix the issue.

7. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute regarding refunds or service quality, we encourage direct communication to reach a fair resolution. If a mutual agreement cannot be reached, either party may pursue resolution under the applicable laws of Haryana, India.

8. Policy Updates
